We just started using electronic charting. The new program requires dual sign off with 2 nurses to start rituxan & whenever rate changes are made. We had been infusing rituxan for over a year with only one nurse initiating therapy. Wondering what everyone else is doing. Our pharmacy dept will not change this as it was built into the system. We infuse alot of biologics. THis is the only medication that required 2 nurses.
