Has anybody heard of using Regitine as an additve to IV bags containing Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Pheneran as a preventive measure to protect tissue in case of infiltration? If so, what is the concentration?
Never heard of this. Never seen any publications about it use in this manner. Very curious to know if others have. Regitine is the antidote for dopamine and dobutamine but not for promethazine (Phenergan), so I don't get that rationale.
