ASPMN taskforce on Procedural Pain & Needlesticks

I've asked Janice if I can post this here.  It would really contribute to the work of this taskforce to have someone who is an IV specialist/INS member.  Please contact her via her email listed below if you are interested.  ASPMN = American Society of Pain Management Nurses.

New Task Force Seeks Volunteers: Procedural Pain and Needlesticks Task Force

We have formed a task force to look at procedural pain including needlesticks.  While we have a gifted panel we still would like two more members who could represent other stakeholders in this specifically the Association for Radiologic & Imaging Nursing and the Infusion Nursing Society.  If you are a member of either organization and would be willing to represent them on this task force please contact Janice Reynolds RN, BC, OCN, CHPN at [email protected]

Sorry for no content on this

Sorry for no content on this message earlier. I was traveling and tried to reply from my cellphone. The only way for any nurse to officially represent any other nursing organization would be an appointment by that organization. So you must take your request to these organizations and get their official response. In other words no one can act as a representative of any organization just by volunteering here and without the endorsement of that organization.
