Coated PICCs and insertion tracking

Greetings!

I'm wondering whether there is a company who markets a coated PICC catheter that has built in insertion tracking......a la Sherlock or some other capability.  Our infection control nurse is pressing for use of any and all technology to decrease BSIs, including introduction of an antibiotic or other coated catheter.  I don't want to give up tracking during insertion.  Am wondering if we can 'have our cake and eat it too'.  Is there anything out there with coating and tracking ability?

Thanks!

You could use the Spectrum

You could use the Spectrum catheter from Cook and a Navigator?

You could use ECG guidance

You could use ECG guidance with any catheter with a guidewire except the specialized guidewire used with the Navagator or Sherlock system.
