Billing for PICCs placed by RNs is through a facility fee. While the billing must be done through Medicare, there is no payment, but this enables billing through Private Insurance allowing you to recoup some monies. I tried to cut and paste a table but I will have to send it to you via email on codes used for insertion etc.

US PICC GUIDANCE = CPT 76937
PICC KIT = C1751
REV CODE = 278 (IN-PATIENT)
I still question charging for US insertion for nurses. My understanding is this is not a charge that a nurse can do.
