Bard Power Ports

I'm wondering if I could get some feedback from folks using the Bard power ports in their facilities.  The question is about the "bumps".  There are some in my facility who feel like the bumps are painful to patients and lead to tissue erosian.  I would like to look at changing to them because I like the Groshong catheter feature which would eliminate the need for heparin locks, but I'm getting some push back.  Does anyone have data on this subject?
