We've finally gotten an ultrasound machine, it came from an OB office, so it only has an OB probe. We're having a hard time finding a venous probe for it. The machine is a Sonosite 180, NOT a plus. It was apparently an early production model, and according to our supplier/bio-med the transducers for the PLUS will not interchange with this machine.
I'm begining my own search online, but if anyone has a good supplier for parts etc. it would sure hlep us out.
Thanks,

I like the I-Look, but there is nothing else on the market that comes close to the Sonosite S-Cath. Look at that before you do any trading.

We are using the 180 in the OB dept. too, so trading it in isn't an option. Thanks for the opinions though.

Like I said. Get the CNO to support you. Pretend to cry a little bit! I did and she got me 2 (two) S-Fast!!! Hehehe!!! I kissed goodbye my lovely iLook25. We've been friends for more than 5 years, you know. If your hospital does not have budget for the S-Fast ($23K), get the refurbished iLook25 $6K only but it is 10 times better than 180plus.
