Budgeting for an all day seminar

I'm looking for some help in planning a budget for a seminar.  We want to have about 4 speakers and offer lunch and CEs.  I want to apply for a grant but need a ball park number for a budget.  We would like to see attendance of 60 to 100.  Does anyone have experience in this process to guide me?

you can email me privately at darilyn10 at yahoo dot com.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Your budget must include the

Your budget must include the following:

speaker fees and travel expenses

conference room rental fees (may be tied to food)

food that you will be providing, if any

audiovisual equipment rental

production of handout materials

cost of the CE application to a local provider, plus cost of producing the required certificates

marketing the event which includes brochure creation, printing, folding, stamping, mailing. This is the highest cost of all. Count on getting about 1-2% as registered attendees. To get 100 people you would need to reach ~10,000 people. Postage is the biggest part of the budget. You might be able to find electronic databases and email the brochure.

registration process costs. Who will be managing the receipt of the registrations? How will they pay - cash, check, credit cards?
