How many of you out there still use telfa on your central dressing changes?...And what is your protocol for how often they are changed?

Per CDC and INS guidelines,

Per CDC and INS guidelines, dressings with a transparent semipermiable membrane can be changed q7days and prn.  If gauze is used, the dressings need to be changed within 48 hours.

Telfa on a CVC dressing?? I have never used this. I would say this would fall into the tape and gauze category and require the 48 h change.
