We have an oncology educator that recalls she used to use these catheters for short-term difficult stick patients. She doesn't recall the brand name. Anyone know anything about a product that fits this description and manufacturer name? Thanks, Cindy Hunchusky, RN,CRNI
Cindy,
You may want to contact your local BD rep They have a few different IV catheters that are 24g. by 0.56in length This is probably what the oncology educator is referring to. Terri
BD Insyte Autoguard is a 24gauge, 0.56inch peripheral IV catheter that we use in neonates.
