I have been the sole PICC nurse in a 800 bed hospital for the past 6 months. I have been placing 100-120 PICCs/month. I need help. I want to write a buisness proposal for a Vascular Access Department (dreaming big) or at the least a PICC team. Does anyone have a proposal they would share. Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated.

100-120 per month in an 800-bed hospital implies that PICCs are probably underused and therefore other CVC's overused. Either that or your radiologists are putting in too many PICC's which sounds like a big potential for cost savings.
