Does anyone have any experience with hemolysis of blood using a vacutainer system to draw specimens out of a firesh IV stick. this is done to save the patient a stick. Please respond with your ideas of the reason, size of IV catheter, or tube brands etc Thanks for your help. Jackie Tropp
There is an older set of posts on this site from 15 weeks ago that might give you some suggestions. Scroll through the older posts and look for blood draws through a peripheral IV.
